How to connect the router and broadband?

At present, the types of home broadband lines mainly include telephone lines, optical fibers and network cables. The following describes the line connection methods of routers, computers and broadband lines under various home lines. Note: The line type is the actual physical medium.

Fiber to the home

The home line provided by the operator is optical fiber, which needs to be used with the optical modem. Please connect as follows:

Telephone line entry

The home line provided by the operator is a telephone line, which needs to be used with a Modem. Generally, it is a broadband line of China Telecom. Please connect as follows:

After all the above lines are connected, please make sure that the corresponding interface indicators of the router, computer, and modem are usual.

It's not that you can go online after the line is connected. You also need to enter the router's management address on the computer browser, usually 192.168.1.1, but not all routers have this address. Your router brand can find the actual login address.
